After Yoenis Cespedes singled to lead off the eighth, he stole second and third and scored on a wild pitch by Joaquin Benoit, tying the score at 3. Josh Reddick then homered off Benoit to push the A’s into the lead.
In Game 1, Moss was 0-for-4 with three strikeouts and struck out in his first at-bat today. Reddick’s home run was his second hit of the series, after striking out six times int he first two games. It’s the A’s most important at-bat since Coco Crisp gave them the early lead in his leadoff at-bat yesterday.
