Doug Fister strikes back, gets through 2nd inning

Tigers starter Doug Fister appears to have his good pitching stuff, as he’s gotten through the first two innings with four strikeouts. He allowed a bloop hit to the A’s Josh Donaldson and hit the next batter, Seth Smith, but struck out George Kottaras to finish the inning with no runs.
He’s milling along, with his pitch count only at 30 and confusing the Oakland hitters with his swingback fastball and placement on his curve.
