Game 2: Tigers, A's back after quick turnaround

After last night’s Game 1, the Tigers and A’s are back at Comerica Park for Game 2 of the ALDS. Both managers downplayed the effect of the noon start, as it’s similar to a normal Saturday-Sunday routine.
As A’s manager Bob Melvin pointed out before Game 1, a 6:00 Saturday start and noon Sunday has the same timing as a typical Saturday night game at 7, followed by a 1:00 game on a Sunday.
The A’s, however, are coming off Pacific time and their biological clocks are probably still at 9 a.m. today. Melvin pointed out that it’s just part of the rigor of playing in the majors and that both teams have to deal with the turnaround.
