After the A’s took the lead in the top half of the inning, the Tigers are rallying in the 7th, with Austin Jackson and Infante getting back-to-back, two-out singles and bring up Miguel Cabrera, who had two doubles earlier.
Cabrera hit a flare to center fielder Coco Crisp, who bobbled the catch, allowing both Jackson and Infante to score — and catapulting the Tigers into a 3-2 lead.
Crisp looked to get a late break on the ball from deep center field and by the time he got to it, was in stride and dropped the ball. It’s a break the Tigers needed, as they can go to their bullpen in the eighth.
