Fielder robbed of home run, A's still lead 1-0

Prince Fielder blasted a ball to deep right center to start the second inning, but Coco Crisp brought back a ball that would have been a homer and tied the game.

Delmon Young and Jhonny Peralta followed with back-to-back singles, but Andy Dirks and Avisail Garcia were unable to deliver.

The Tigers looked good in the second inning even though they didn’t get on the board. Hopefully this is a sign that Brett Anderson is not in the kind of groove he looked to be in during the first inning.
