Tigers and Yankees still scoreless after five

John Smoltz just said it best on the TBS broadcast: These American League Playoffs feel like the National League with these low scoring games.

Both the Tigers and Yankees are relying strictly on pitching because their highly paid hitters are doing absolutely nothing at the plate.

The Tigers are playing good defense right now, though, as Jhonny Peralta saved runs in the first two innings with sparkling plays.

Doug Fister has settled in and set the Yankees down in order in the last two innings. It looked like it was going to be a long night for the Tigers starter when he loaded the bases in each of the first two innings.
