Quintin Berry got a one-out single, and after a Miguel Cabrera fly out, Prince Fielder walked. Delmon Young hit the ball hard to right field, but he hit it right at Ichiro for the third out.
With Justin Verlander on the mound, the hope is the Tigers get on the board here in the first three innings to take some of the pressure off of their ace.
