2. Still no Andy Dirks, Ramon Santiago or Brennan Boesch, either, because of lingering injuries.
3. Last start for Anibal Sanchez before he heads for World Baseball Classic. Is scheduled to make only four starts for the Tigers this spring.
4. Rare clean-up assignment for Alex Avila.
5. Fourth start in left for Nick Castellanos.
