Westborn Market goes red

Westborn Market, with locations in Dearborn, Livonia and Berkley, has introduced its Market Red following the successful introduction of its Market White.

In keeping with owner Mark Anusbigian’s loyalty to Michigan products, the red blend is produced by St. Julian Winery in Paw Paw from red grapes that have historically grown in Michigan. The final blend was chosen by the Westborn staff.

Selling for $8.99 or two for $16, it brims with cherry, raspberry, plum fruits and baking spices. It has a touch of sweetness — like mashing a Bing cherry in your mouth.

Give it a little chill if you wish. It’s a summertime wine for anything you’re cooking on the grill.
