The bachelors are coming back to Metro Detroit to pour their wines.
Ben Flajnik (pronounced Flannick), who starred in ABC’s hit reality show “The Bachelor,” and his business partner Mike Benziger of the Benziger wine family are best friends from boyhood, and ladies, they make great wine and still aren’t hitched.
The two produce the Envolve line of wines at Benziger Family Winery in Sonoma County, Calif., and in keeping with the Benziger family’s respect for the land and holistic approach, all of their wines are made off vineyards that are sustainable, organic or biodynamic.
In the Metro Detroit area, Flajnik and Benziger will appear at Kroger, Meijer and Westborn Market June 28-29. However, their visit will take them up north and to Grand Rapids as well. See the information below for details.
They will be debuting their 2011 Envolve Sonoma Mountain Rose, at the suggested retail price of $25. It is farmed biodynamically (that’s taking organic and upping it some notches) off the Dragonsleaf Vineyard on Sonoma Mountain. It’s a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Cinsault.
So pack your credit card, recharge your cellphone for photos and cross your fingers you get a rose.
