Goldner Walsh Garden & Home: It's more than a garden store!

Supporting local businesses is a goal for me and I’m sure many of my readers. Goldner Walsh Garden & Home, located on nine beautiful acres in Pontiac, is one of Michigan’s oldest greenhouses, dating back to 1890.

Goldner Walsh Garden & Home is more than a garden store. It’s a premier full-service landscape company, florist, specialty garden store, and event destination centrally located in Oakland County in the historic district of Pontiac.   They are a diversified company known for exceptional customer service, creative talent experience, and professionalism in the products and services they provide. They determine to meet the needs of a diverse, established, distinct clientele and emerging consumer base. They have extensive collections of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, exotic tropical plants and garden accents.

At present, GW’s goal is to create a seasonal garden store that will meet the demand for a year-round interactive lifestyle destination. In the works is a Made In Michigan store that will be home to many local artisans and producers… many I’m sure you will be familiar with. They’ve partnered up with Derek Spurlock, owner of local stone company  Spurlock’s Stone and Brick, These are just a couple of the exciting things happening at GW, with much more coming!

Tim Travis, owner of GW,   is dedicated to his local community and creating an environment that will benefit it.

Some of the specialty services you’ll receive from GW include:

*Professional landscaping services
*Wedding ceremony/reception accommodations
*One-of-a-kind entertainment location
*Outdoor Amphitheater to seat 125 guests intimately for warm weather concerts, movies, wedding ceremonies and theatrical performances.
